Great pants!
The fit is comfy, true to size
Cozy, breathable sweater! I love it because it works perfectly on these late summer / early fall days to keep me warm but not too warm. I think it will be a great layering piece in the winter too :)
Love these pants! Originally bought in a 2X (my typical size) but ended up sizing down to a 1X. The waist is a little snug, but I found that the pant legs fit much better. I started with a pair in denim and liked them so much I decided to get a pair in black to wear in the office! I would love to see these in other colors too!
The Indigo Plaid style isn't lined, and the fabric is reallyyy thin. It's pretty sheer, to the point where I wasn't comfortable wearing it, and I didn't think it was worth putting a lining in. Everything else about the dress is great!
I like the look of the pants, especially in the front and the wide leg, but I found the waist runs small. The elastic might loosen some with time, but I didn't want to be tugging at it the all the time. I expected the waistband to be reinforced (eg with interfacing) to be a little more substantial, as would be the case with proper slacks - but it is not. Overall they were not quite what I was looking for.
Love these - super comfy and fun. For reference, I’m 5’2 and can were these with flat shoes. I wear a size small but might be able to do an xsmall as well.

Love the fabric! It is a little sheer and it’s soooo pretty. We need more Nico dresses for fall!

I’ve coveted these pants from afar for ages and finally got them- should never have waited so long! I love them- super comfy, super flattering!
I'm a smaller large and the size large was much too roomy for my preference. I am exchanging for a medium but can't speak on the fit of that yet. The jean material seemed high quality and substantial. The elastic was the kind that is secure but doesn't dig so that's great. Love the depth of the front pockets. IMO the back pockets are a little small and placed high... I think a somewhat larger pocket placed a little lower is more flattering. I am excited to get the mediums... I have a feeling they will be a good daily driver of a pant for when I just want to be comfortable and cute. I look forward to pairing with tighter fitting crop tops and cropped cardigans.

I purchased the porch balloon pant in Medium black (5’7”, 140, straight frame, athletic build). These pants were super comfortable during my two week trip in Japan. Lightweight and dry fast but don’t look like technical gear pants when visiting museums or out to dinner. Can pair with a Tshirt or a blouse and I did! They do wrinkle pretty easily though, and the elastic is initially a little tight on my waist.

I like the color and overall shape of the dress. The only issue is the elastic on the sleeves. It killed my arms all day and left a red agitated mark. I'll probably cut open the seam and cut the elastic. :/

I loved these pants at first but unfortunately, on both of my pairs, the elastic in the waist has twisted within the waistband. Every time I wear them I have to try and re-orient the elastic within the waistband so it isn’t twisted, which is annoying enough that I probably won’t purchase another pair, even though I love the fit. I have other pants with a super thick elastic waist and they sew the elastic in so it can’t warp/twist, I wish these did.

Horrible experience - I will not be planning to purchase from Tradlands again. I ordered two dressed in June, then was notified one was not available, and they not know when it would be. After a lot of back and forth with customer service, I still never got the dress and settled for a refund two months later. I don’t understand why Tradlands would have a dress for sale that they don’t have stocked, and don’t know when will be restocked. Very confused and dissapointed.

Really well made! I love the fit (I'm short but wear L/XL) - it is structured and made from quality fabric but still comfy and light to wear.

Bought these in a 4x when I’m usually a 3x bc my butt is big! The fabric is thick and hangs well, it even looks good if you don’t iron it. They fit like a dream and are super comfy. Will be wearing them all year round.

I really like these pants. I’m 5’1” and they aren’t too long. I go the medium and I have a 30” waist and 41” hips. I wish the elastic waistband had a little more give but they still fit. The silhouette is really nice and the material is nice and thick.

Fits true to size, with a shorter rise than the porch pants. The fabric is substantial. Pockets are deep! I emailed ahead of time about the fit and got quick and detailed replies that helped me pick the right size for me. Also I’m 5’7” and the inseam works for me as an ankle length pant.

I wear size 16 pants and like oversized fits and the 1x both fits my waist and is oversized on my hips. Also, I am 5’3” and I didn’t have to get the pants taken up. Love that you can machine wash and tumble dry. The pants did shrink ever so slightly after the first tumble dry, but I expected that with a cotton blend fabric. The color is exactly as pictured (olive with stripe), and I already want to buy more colors with the stripes! :D

These pants are such a win: comfortable, professional, modern, simple but not boring. The fabric is soft and high quality. As a tall girl—5’9”—I don’t feel like they’re too short, and I think the oversized fit helps with that. The pleats also elevate them. My one complaint is the waistband in the front is a little thin and doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as other pairs of pants in my closet. Additionally, as an XS, these pants run a tad big, but there’s no smaller size. Understandable for a small business, but would love to see development there. Would love more colors, like a brown or burgundy!

I was very surprised how much I love these. The material is high quality and the shape is awesome! I have a bigger belly, so getting big pants/wide leg that don’t make my belly look goofy is tough. The pleats and waist combo is awesome. I’m a pretty set 2x and these are really TTS. I just wish there were more colors, I’d get at least more more pair in a blue, green, or even pink.

Purchased a few Tradlands dresses a few years ago and those were AMAZING both texture and color-wise. Fast forward to this purchase some years later and the quality has insanely gone down, meanwhile their prices have not lol! So scratchy and see-through for the price point. Very disappointed the fabric quality has gone down like this. Wish I hadn’t purchased to be honest.

I have never looked worse in an item of clothing! The fabric is somehow too thick to drape properly, and instead of looking like an indie darling, I looked like an off duty construction guy. :(

Absolutely adore these pants (please excuse all of the boxes in the background, in the process of moving in). I prefer these over the porch pants because the front band does not appear elastic and I think that makes it look more put-together, especially when going for high-waisted looks (which, I almost always do because I have a very long torso). I also find it more flattering in the butt area than the porch pants. I'm 5'6.5" 155-158lbs, wearing a large, hides my mom pooch (yay!). Personally, I don't understand comments about the bagginess and differences in waist vs leg sizing (including RE porch pants comments) because that is exactly the style that you are buying and what is clearly advertised/explained in the description. I recently purchased this in black as well. Tradlands team: I think this would be stunning in a deep navy color made with tencel (tencel is the best fabric IMO b/c it doesn't wrinkle so easily, drapes beautifully, is very soft, breathable and eco-friendly).
